Relief- All Areas

Are you interested in working in Health & Social Care? Vibrance has exciting opportunities available for you to join our Relief bank as a Support Worker in our care homes and supported living services for adults with learning difficulties and or Autism, and mental health needs. At Vibrance we are passionate about supporting people to lead their lives as they wish and to challenge the barriers that prevent individual choice and fulfilment.

Relief staff are required across our locations, including:
Thurrock (South Ockendon), Essex: Waltham Abbey, Benfleet, Billericay, Chelmsford, Braintree, Colchester and Clacton, Redbridge: Chadwell Heath, Ilford, Wanstead & Merton (Colliers Wood).

Flexible hours available across all our residential locations. Hourly rate £8.72 or £9.21 (depending upon role and location).

We are looking to recruit reliable and flexible relief staff to support the permanent staff teams in our residential settings. The role will be different depending on who you are supporting but will include support with their normal day to day stuff, cooking, cleaning, personal care plus hobbies, social activities, making new friends, building relationships, volunteering and employment, and may also include supporting people on their holidays.

During these unprecedented times, the role may look different as the focus is on supporting people to live within the national guidance and stay safe; staying in their homes, with varied in-house activities, maintaining virtual contact with family and friends, and some of our services have residents who have been tested positive for Covid-19, so supporting these people will also be required. All staff are provided with the appropriate PPE and Infection Prevention Control training to carry out their work safely, and in-house Covid-19 testing, and access to the national vaccine programme is also available.

We are able to offer a wide variety of working hours and working options to fit around your lifestyle including full/part time, term time only, evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays.

If you enjoy a challenge, are highly motivated with good communications skills and committed to social inclusion for all, this may be the rewarding role you are looking for.

As an organisation we provide staff with DBS (at no cost to yourself) annual leave and statutory sick pay.
Paid mandatory training for relief bank staff to enhance their career options.

What do our Relief team say? “Working in Health & Social Care, my days are never the same”

So, if you are willing to work at any of our services NOW, please apply!
